Roberto
Tavano: Roberto Tavano is currently a Partner with Unisys
Corporation, acting as VP Justice & Public Safety Programmes,
Continental Europe. He counts more than twenty years of experience
in management consulting, with specific focus on the change
of business models through the innovative use of Information
and Communication Technologies (ICT). After a multi-annual
experience as a high-energy physicist, he largely developed
his professional history as independent entrepreneur, creating
and developing over the years two consultancies in Italy and
one in the UK, until he joined Ernst & Young Consultants
as a Partner. In the wake of the acquisition by Cap Gemini,
he took the role of VP eBusiness and Supply Chain for Italy
and Southern Europe, and was a member of Cap Gemini Ernst
& Youngs WW Leadership Team. The rich and motley
professional experience stems particularly from the proposal
of original business ideas able of leveraging and applying
a suite of solutions to different areas of business, particularly
cultivating subjects such as collaboration and integration
of complex ecosystems in industries like manufacturing, banking,
software, public administration, transportation and construction.
He is an appreciated communicator, often invited as a speaker
to national and international conferences and press events,
as well as subject of thought leadership interviews by media
in Italy (Il Corriere della Sera, Il Sole 24 Ore) and elsewhere
(CNBC Financial Channel, etc.).
Christian
Wernberg-Tougaard: Christian Wernberg-Tougaard is currently
Director of Marketing and Communication, Global Public Sector,
Unisys Continental Europe. He holds a master of Economics
from the University of Aarhus. He has the responsibility for
innovating the way the Public Sector Practices act towards
Public Sector clients and has the responsibility for helping
clients to think innovative and evaluate new technology as
well as being the prime spokesperson in the Nordics. He is
a specialist in Governments of the Nordic/Continental Europe
with great insight in the challenges and solutions offered
in this the most digitized areas in the World. He has been
appointed member of the European IT-security agency, ENISA,
in the working group on Awareness Raising and
has been part of the Net Safe Now steering committee
as well as the working group of Anti SPAM and
participating in The Danish Board of Technologys
IT-vulnerability assessment of Denmark expert group. Recently
he has been appointed member of the IT-security panel, which
guides the Danish Minister of Technology on IT-security issues
and well as being member of the WG on RFID development in
Denmark under the Danish Board of Technology.
Mr. Wernberg-Tougaard
has been Key Note Speaker at IDCs eGovernment conference
in Rome 2004 as well as at the Danish IT-professionals TCO/ROI
network meeting. Currently he also holds a position in the
Danish Open Source Venders Organisation (www.osl.dk) and has
been expert member in the Danish evaluation of Software
at the Desktop which examined guidelines for use of
Open Source vs. traditional software, which he also has researched
in. He will appear with a chapter in a book on Open Souce
with the title: How Governments should evaluate OSS
vs. Traditional software. He has authored an article
on the business perspectives of ASP-solutions, as well as
co-authored on the book Safety and Security in Denmark.
